Day Off

Hello Boys
Took a day off today, didn’t get outta bed till nearly 11 cause of my late night last night with Brett. Spent most of the day in the garden topping up my tan. Shame I have to go back to work tomorrow, perhaps I should play the lottery on Wednesday, be so nice to win millions, well even 1 million would be nice. First thing I’d do is go on a shopping spree, I’d get some new bikinis as you can never have enough bikinis. I wonder what everyone else would do. We’re always having this conversation in the office about what we’d do if we wan the lottery, some said they’d pay off their mortgage first, some said they’d go on a round the world trip, some said it wouldn’t change them.

Yeah right!

River Festival

Went to the River Festival in Bedford today. It’s only on every other year but its always good. Got rained on while we were walking round. Left my phone at home otherwise I woulda done a little vid for Brett its been ages since I’ve seen him. Gonna have to give him a call see what he’s up to...

Fun With My New 50’

Hello Boys
Had to leave work early today to get home for the delivery bloke. He was there by the time I got home, my pervy neighbour was chatting to him. He was so nice he even plugged it in for me and set up my DVD player to it since I don’t have a clue how to do all that. He was nice enough but so sweaty, I mean really sweaty. He must cover his Mrs in sweat when they have ‘fun’. First dvd I watched on it was Alien which is one of my favourite films. It was almost like being at the pictures. Gonna enjoy watching some fun vids on there next time Brett or Yohan are round, or maybe we could watch them all together..

My New 50'

Hello Boys
Went and bought a new TV today. I wanted a bigger one than the one I had so went to Currys’ and got a 50’. They said they couldn’t deliver it till Thursday though. I planned on going out with Jane so had to call her to re-schedule. Bit of a boring day apart from that, some of the girls at work talked about going out for a drink after work on Monday. I woulda done only I took the day off. Not feeling great actually, i think i might be coming down with something. Got home and had a couple of beers as soon as i got in, such a gorgeous evening so went out and sat in the garden. Fell asleep on my sun lounger and didnt wake up till after 9. I was a bit on the cold side as i only had a pair of bikini bottoms on. My pervy neighbour would normally have shouted over his balcony to wake me up but he was busy with his GF...

Another Downpoor

Hello Boys
First time in a while I didn’t see the Mens Final. I picked up my niece and nephew from the train station last night and they stayed at mine. The plan was to drive down to see my Aunt and Uncle cause they’re over from the States on holiday. Its been ages since I’ve seen them and they hadn’t met my niece and nephew before. Really good to see them all again and the drive down there wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be thanks to my sat nav. We got caught in a downpour on the way home, if I hadn’t been driving I woulda loved to have taken a walk in it barefoot...

Out With Alana

Hello Boys
Went to the theatre today after work. Meant to meet up with Alana outside Convent Garden at 5 but she was late. My phone wouldn’t work and I thought it was cause I’d pressed something  so I went into a Vodaphone shop round the corner. The guy in there said the reception around there was really bad and that they were always having trouble. One of the guys offered to let me use his phone so I could call Alana. His phone worked so I left a message for her. When I thanked him the guy said he wouldn’t be able to sleep unless he knew met up ok and would I take his number and let him know! Round about way of offering me his number I know but I just said my bloke wouldn’t be happy with me taking blokes numbers.

Eventually met up with Alana, she’d got stuck on the tube and didn’t turn up till 6. The play weren’t that good but it gave us a chance to catch up. We were out of it by 9 cause it didn’t have an intermission. Cause it was such a nice evening we decided to walk to Leicester Square. When we passed the Savoy she told me she’d stayed there once when she’d been working at Strada round the corner. There was this guy who used to come in all the time, she said his dad owned a few hotels in Portabella Road and he worked there to get a bit of experience so he could take over managing them one day.

Alana wasn’t the type to take advantage and turned him down loads of times before she finally agreed to go out for lunch with him. He took her to the Savoy for Afternoon Tea, took her to see a show then they stayed there the night, in separate rooms. She said she dated him for about 2 months but ended it cause he wanted to see her all the time and he was always buying her things. She said one afternoon they were walking past Swarovsky’s in Mayfair and she literally just turned her head to look at something. She said he was straight in the store asking he could have a look at the ring and could Alana try it on. Handing over “£28 grand” might be nothing to him but she would have felt guilty accepting it especially as she knew she didn’t really have feelings for him. She ended it the next day.

Another Leaving Do

Hello Boys
Had a leaving do to go to after work today. One of the guys from the warehouse had decided to move to Cornwall. It’s a funny story actually cause him and his Mrs were on holiday there last year and happened to be walking past a souvenir shop that was for sale so they bought it, just like that.

Anyway they’ve been running it since last August and its making a really good profit so him and his Mrs decided to sell up and move down there. They showed up pictures of the shop and their cottage five minutes from the beach and it looks well nice.

We went down the pub for the evening and didn’t leave till nearly 11. I was gonna get a taxi home but Nick offered me a lift. Nice of him.  We talked on the way home, he told me things aren’t much better with his Mrs. I told him if he ever wanted to go out for a drink but kinda regretted it as soon as I said it. I mean didn’t want him to get the wrong impression. I mean I’ve had it getting involved with attached or married men especially after the bloke I got involved with 5 years ago. Not one for a blog but as for my diary….
