Got the afternoon off work today. It was so hot I decided to go lie in Hyde Park for the afternoon. I popped into Anne Summers in Marble Arch first and got myself two nice little outfits. Brett came into the office before I left and said if I wasn’t doing anything that evening did I wanna meet up. Was he kidding??? After our last session I told him to make sure he had plenty of energy!

Harry texted me 5 minutes after I’d made arrangements with Brett. Told him I could see him tomorrow if he was around. Shame to miss out, perhaps one day I could see them at the same time…

Never Again

Went to get my nails done after work today but never again. I normally go there when I go to Costco cause it’s nearby but this time they were so bloody rude. Gonna have to look for somewhere else to go. Be nice to have someone come to me every 3 weeks, oh to be rich!!!

An Evening With Daisy

I met up with Daisy after work today. It was so hot the shirt I was wearing was pretty much sticking to me. We ended up in a pub garden in the shade in Pinner. She had loads to tell me. She’s had plenty of fun since I last saw her. She looks so innocent, you wouldn’t believe half the stuff that she’s gotten up to over the years, way too naughty to mention in a blog, gonna have to read about it in my diary!

An Evening On The Phone

Spent pretty much all evening on the phone. It was such a hot evening, I went and sat on my sun lounger with half a bottle of wine. I spoke to Jane, Jake, Lalani and Daisy. It’s been ages since I’ve met up with Daisy so we said we’d meet up for a drink after work. I didn’t get off the phone till nearly 12. Still it was good to catch up with my mates.

It was so hot today. I could barely bring myself to do but sit in the garden in the shade. Not that there was much shade. I had to put loads of suntan lotion on especially on my feet so I wouldn’t burn. My ex used to love doing that for me. Haven’t heard from him since my birthday. Not that I’m bothered, it’s just that months ago before we split he promised to get me a pair of jimmy choos I’d had my eye on for my birthday. Is it wrong to still want them off him? Still if he brought them round, I wouldn’t say no…

So can’t wait for this weekend. I’m gonna spend loads of it out in the garden getting nice n tanned. Had dinner after work with Witney. I haven’t seen her in ages. Like I said before I seem to get on with people older than me and she went to school with my brothers. She’s only 12 years older but we’ve always gotten on really well. In fact we used to go out together all the time. We used to have some real fun. We laughed about the time when we went to some club off Oxford Street one Thursday night and she spent the whole night fending blokes off. See she looked a lot like Witney Houston which is how she got her nick name. Still we did get a lot of drinks brought for us back then.

Strawberry’s In The Garden

Jane came over after work today. She bought over a bottle of white and a bottle of rose and we took them out to the garden. We sat on a picnic blanket and stuffed ourselves with the strawberry’s I’d got a few days ago.

She told me she’s thinking about moving out of her rented flat and buying a place though she wasn’t sure where. She said she’d made a few phone calls to a few estate agents in the area but not done much else. I told her it was probably better to see them. Then, when stuff comes in, they normally call the people they’ve met first. She reckoned the guy she spoke to sounded sexy. I told her it’s often the ones that sound sexy that aren’t!

The Final

Wow what a final that was. I watched it at Lalani’s place with a few other mates. We were in the garden and she’d turned her 40’ TV round so we could watch it.

We drunk loads of Pimms that day and I didn’t get home nearly 10. Still a good time was had by everyone. Lalani’s feet got very dirty cause she was in and out of her place bare foot getting drinks and stuff for everyone. Her feet got so dirty, some of the guys offered to wash them for her. A Hot Night Of Salsa

Couldn’t wait to get out of work today. I went to Salsa and had a really good night. It was so hot in there as people kept coming outside to try and cool down. Rosa was there again but she didn’t get there till late. Would have gone next week if I hadn’t been seeing Witney for dinner. Might even go afterwards if we’re done early enough.

Drinks At The Tattershall

Went to a retirement do today after work. Alan, a guy I used to work with, met me outside the train station at Embankment. He’s quite a bit older than me but we always got on really well. Raj, the guy who was retiring was on really good form. We had our own bit sectioned off downstairs on the Tattershall Castle. It was an open bar for a few hours and he’d laid on a really nice spread. I don’t even remember what time I got home.

I really should have taken tomorrow off!

Can’t tell you how tired I was when my alarm went off at 6 o’clock. Me and Honey said we’d make an effort to get in the cue early so we could get in. The made us cue in the park in the grounds but it was ok cause it was really hot. Speaking of hot we got talking to these girls in the cue in front of us. They were a couple but hadn’t been together that long. They were telling us how no-one really knew about them yet at Michelle hadn’t told her family she was bi. Sharon had been out for years and couldn’t understand why it was so hard for her to come out. I think after 7 hours in the cue of discussing it on and off, she finally understood!

Taking A Leaf

Well it’s nearly D Day!

Still a bit tired from yesterday what with being up drinking half the night. Well worth it though.

Me and my mate Mary had a leaving do to go to of someone she used to work with. We ended up in Islington at the Cuba Libra. The cocktails in there were nice and it was Happy Hour so 4 drinks later we were all very happy!

She was just telling me about the new shoes she’d brought and that the workmen doing their kitchen at the moment, keep flirting with her whenever her husband wasn’t around. I told her to pass them my way as I could do with some fun!

I decided to take this afternoon and the rest of the week off. Well its only fair ain’t it, I mean you only turn 30 once!

I told Brett when he called earlier that I was gonna be off for my birthday and he offered to take me out for lunch. He ended up taking me out for Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Room Café on the Fulham Palace Road. We even got a bottle of Champagne which went down very well.

We decided to have dessert back at mine as it turns out he was off the afternoon too…

Jane came over after work today. We ordered Chinese take-away and sat outside in the garden for a while. My pervy neighbour was hanging around again and wouldn’t take the hint when we kept talking to each other. We whispered to each other after he’d gone that he really gave us both the creeps.

Jane told me she’d been on another date on Sunday night. He was a blind date arranged by someone she works with.

This one wasn’t quite as bad as the last one but still….

Five Days To D Day!!!

Can’t believe I’m nearly 30. 30!!!! Unbelievable. Definitely would love to celebrate it abroad but gonna have to wait till later on in the year to go away.

Got no idea where we’ll end up but I know it’ll be a laugh. Still thinking about last years’ birthday and when my ex took me to that hotel in Kings Cross…

Can’t wait to get paid Friday, there’s a pair of shoes in Debenhams I’ve had my eye on down from £120 to £40. They only had 3 pairs left last time I was there. Guess I could go get them but I’ve got nothing in for lunch and I have a few do’s to go to and kinda need the booze money.

Oh well, perhaps I can persuade someone to buy me lunch the rest of the week so I can go buy those shoes
