I was meant to be going to see Whitney yesterday evening but she rang me earlier and said she wasn’t feeling well so I called Jane to see what she was doing. Her new bloke was away at some conference this weekend so she came round to mine Saturday night with a few bottles of wine. Anna knocked on the door last night too. They hadn’t met before but they got on well and after 3 and half bottles later, Jane ended up staying the night. She’s been seeing a lot of her bloke lately and things seem to be going well.

Anna told us she’s still chatting to that woman in Lowestoft but she’s going up to meet her on Friday, she said she might actually do stuff this time…

Went to see Alana after work today. Her belly is well big now and she’s not even due till the end of February. She said the café they opened up early last December is doing quite well considering it’s only just opened up.

Brett texted me while I was at Alana’s and asked me what I was doing, I told him I’d be home around 10ish and by the time I’d got home, he was sitting in his car waiting for me with a bottle of wine. He didn’t stay the night but we did have 2 hours of incredible fun.

What a day! Didn’t get out of work till gone 7 we were so busy. Dived straight into the fridge when I got home cause all I wanted was a glass of wine. All I could find was a bottle of Etienne Dumont Champagne, real nice way to spend a Wednesday evening.

Vanessa called me yesterday and asked me if I wanted to go to Somerset House to see some photo exhibition thing that’s on, told her I’d go with her next week.

Had to go get some shopping today after work so got the car and went to Waitrose. Traffic was really bad, I was sitting in a traffic jam and this woman was waiting for a lift or something. She was wearing a cute little dark purple jacket with fur round the collar and on the cuffs with a pink scarf and gloves to match. She was wearing the tightest pair of jeans but looked real nice in them with a pair of black leather knee high boots. The heels were so skinny even I would’ve struggled to walk in them.

This one car crawled past cause they must have been looking at her cause all of a sudden he went into the back of the car in front. So funny, wonder how he’s gonna explain that to his GF or wife when he gets home!

Can’t believe what Layla told me. She said she’s trying to get everything sorted so she can move in with Rolfe at the end of the month. I’m really gonna miss her. She said she’d be back in March though so we’ll definitely meet up then. She asked me to keep an eye on her house while she rents it out and if things work out with Rolfe, she’ll probably put her house on the market early next year.

Spent most of the day round my mums. She made a huge roast dinner and my brothers came over with their families. It was nice actually cause we hadn’t all been together for ages.
 
I got a missed call from Layla some time in the afternoon, I texted her back I’d call her when I got home but I got home so late I texted her I’d call her tomorrow. Hate Sunday nights, need to talk to my boss about starting later on a Monday morning. Wonder if he’ll go for it, might do if I wear a pair of his favorite knee boots in to work tomorrow.

I been very very naughty. I didn’t go out tonight, Anna came round with a bottle of White and we got chatting. Seems she’s met up a few times with that woman Leslie from Lowestoft. Went to meet up with Emma after work today. She called me just as I sat down to wait for her in the coffee shop and said she was gonna have to work late as someone had gone home sick. Hated that I had to go into work today. Still I decided for a change I wouldn’t get drunk tonight and gonna go salsa instead. I had the most amazing time, some really good dancers there and it went on till 3. Good way to see in the New Year. I hardly sat down all night cause I kept getting asked to dance. Especially Kizomba. I behaved myself though. I didn’t check my phone till I got home. Brett texted me Happy New Year and asked me what I was doing tomorrow, meaning Wednesday. I said I’d been invited to a mates for dinner. I texted him back saying I’d been invited to a mates for dinner. He was still up cause he was at a mates house gathering thing. He asked if I wanted some company tomorrow afternoon. I told him I’d see him about 1 and that I’d leave the door on the latch.

Ate far too much yesterday at my mums and drank far far too much. My mum had 14 for dinner and pretty much everyone brought a bottle of some kind. I was on the white wine and budweisser but I think we started doing cocktails at  some point heavy on the booze easy on the fruit stuff. I stayed over cause I was in no condition to drive, didn’t get home till nearly 7 today. Looking forward to seeing Lalani and Rebecca round at Selena’s tomorrow.

We had our do today. Boss let us leave early and we headed into Covent Garden. Sally’s back with us till next May and she booked us all a table at the Foundation Bar. We put up some decorations in the office today. The tree looked kinda cool, at least it got us out of work for a few hours. Our boss said we could leave work early which surprised us for a Monday morning. It was only an hour early but I made the most of it by heading down to M & S. I called Peter today after I came back from lunch. Nick came in while I was on the phone to him. Seems Nick knows a bit about cars and offered to have a look at it on his way home. He’s got a nice comfy Saab 9-3 sport sedan. He had a look at my car when we got to mine and luckily enough it was just a little screw thing under the bonet that had a little crack in it and was leaking water. He even offered to go get the part for me. Ain’t that nice? He came back in half hour, fitted the part and everything.

Met up with Jake for lunch. He told me he’s still seeing this woman he met in the summer. He still hasn’t spent the night with her yet, well he’s spent the night with her but nothing has happened yet. It’s my bosses birthday today so he brought in a few bits for use to have a party in the office, after work of course.

All the sales people came in and we all had a laugh. I actually got a little tipsy on this wine my boss had brought in. This stuff was amazing I think I lost count after the 6^th glass, definitely gonna have to get some from somewhere. Conversation definitely took a naughty turn after we’d all had a few. Nick one of the sales guys had all the girls in the office in stitches telling us about the time when he was a PC him and the guy he was with had had to answer this emergency call from this guy in a house. They had to break in in the end cause they could hear someone calling for help. When they got to the bedroom they couldn’t believe what they saw. This is definitely one for the diary!

She looked like a bit of a dolly bird if I’m honest. He told me they’d met when he was in Wickes a few weeks ago. She was looking to fit a new bathroom and since he happens to be a plumber, so they ended up chatting.

At least I guess if he’s got a new ‘friend’ he’ll leave me alone!

Had the last of our second interviews today and my boss decided to take on 2 people. That woman Pamela and Nick the ex coppa. The girls in the office were well happy. He’s such a flirt, really nice guy though not really my type.

Rebecca and me went off for a couple of pedicures this afternoon. They weren’t overly nice in there but they did do a good job Rebecca was well pleased. The weather was really shite but that didn’t stop us getting in the hot tub when we got home. Adriana told us about the couple that had come to view their house cause its on the market and they’re thinking of moving to Italy. The couple seemed really excited about their basement...

Looking forward to next weekend cause off to South Wales with Lalani and Rebecca. We’re gonna be staying with Lalani’s cousin Patrizo and Adriana. They got a gorgeous 7 bedroom house with a little mini gym in the basement, well I say mini but they have a sauna, a steam room, treadmills, rowing machines and a tonne of weights. They even have a hot tub in there and one in the garden aswell. Can’t wait to get into that.

Went out tonight with Vanessa. We went to Fredericks Wine Bar in Islington. The food was absolutely amazing. Couldn’t wait for the dessert cause I really fancied the lemon meringue pie but in the end I went for the cheese plate. It reminded me of a wedding I went to a few years ago with my ex where the wedding cake was made out of different cheeses. Strange but it actually worked really well.
