A Surprising Date

Hello Boys
I decided to do a bit of shopping in Bond Street today. While I was in one of the boutiques, Lindy called me for a chat. Turns out she was only down the road in Covent Garden so told her to come meet me in the Sherlock Holmes hotel in Baker Street. After waiting for her for nearly 45 minutes she called me and said she’d got caught up and could we meet up another time.

I was just about getting ready to leave when this bloke who had been sitting a few chairs away from me said idiot. Turns out he’d heard me on the phone and assumed it was a bloke that had stood me up. I put him straight and we kinda got chatting. Didn’t end up leaving till well after 10, see he was staying in one of the rooms upstairs…
